As the days fly pass, the notes in my wallet gradually decrease. FOOD EXPEDITION really drains much money from my wallet. :( Oh well, so we had a new comrade who joined us yesterday, Kian Chuen. It was a pleasant surprise.Alright, so before we embarked on the FOOD EXPEDITION, my PW group went to Hougang Mall to eat Guilinggao and then bought one bowl of it to let the examiners try on that day. How sweet bitter isn't it? Then Amelia went on to eat Soft Boiled eggs for the first time at Ya Kun. I think it was a good experience for her. Hehe.

After I went home to put my bag, Jian Yuan and I went back to Lorong Chuan to wait for them. They really need to understand the word "Punctuality". I think it'll do a great deal in the future. So off we went to Marymount for LONG HOUSE!

Since we didn't know the place well, we toured a quarter of Thomson Road before reaching LONG HOUSE. Then as we reach the traffic junction, the green man was blinking and there were only a few seconds left. Weijie didn't have any second thought and ran for it. Well, obviously we stayed there like block of stones and stunned as we see him running across the long stretch of road. So he was waiting for us and what caught his attention?

HAHAHAHAS. Yea, he was captivated by the signboard himself. We didn't instruct him to do that. Oh well, that was EPIC. We were laughing our hearts out at the other side of the road when we saw him doing that. HEHE.

Yup, so we ordered these few dishes. The duck was REALLY ex. I guess Weijie went to ask for duck meat for 5 people. Gosh, it was $20+++. Each person paid $7.90 thanks to the meat. Hahas, nevertheless, it's still worthwhile.

So this is the end product. Gosh, I wasn't pretty much full before I realized everything was finished. We were like hungry wolfs scavenging for food eagerly. We really finished the food instantly. Then we had to resort to finding meat from the cucumbers and herbs from the duck meat herbal chicken respectively. Oh well, that's how guys eat. Wait, they don't. There isn't a word to describe the extent of how barbaric they eat. :)

Yea, we finally had a group photo. Weijie was supposed to ask the 2 girls sitting at the next table to take a group photo of use. He mistook as we dared him to take a picture with the girls. Why on Earth would we allow such a good opportunity for him? So I went off to ask the girls to help us take a picture. Sigh, no kick. :P

This cost $17.90. 8 scoops with 6 toppings. Not bad, it's quite worth the money. And surprisingly, most of them dislike Durian. Omygee, they don't know what's good for them. Oh well, they left the best for me and I like it. I should have ordered 8 scoops of durian!

So we chilled out there for a few hours. It's a really cool place to hang out and talk about grandmother's stories. It was really quiet initially, just a few people in the shop. Then suddenly, people just came flooding in. Then, we felt obliged to leave since we finished our ice cream decades ago.

It seems that the FOOD EXPEDITION is attracting more people and building its army well. I'm looking forward to Tuesday. Now, the entire class seems to be interested to be part of this physical and mental challenging journey!

It's the 5th day since the start of Food Expedition! Alright, we went to Chinatown yesterday intending to eat Claypot Rice after school. We braved the storms from Outram Park Station to the Hawker Centre, just to realize that it was much nearer to walk from Chinatown station. Oh well, that wasn't the worst. Then, we spent much time going in circles just to realize that the shop rest on every Thursday.

Waseh, I tell you. That kind of agony is indescribable. We thought nothing can stop us from eating it, including the rain. SIGH. So we went to eat some popular Fish Head instead. Initially, one Auntie came over and promoted her Fish Head but we went over to order from a bigger store. Then after we ordered, she came over and moan and said that her store was cheaper and better. Oh well, stiff competition.

The food was good and all, except that most of us don't know how to eat Fish Head. We had to ask the Auntie over and ask her to teach us how to eat. HOW EPIC! When I thought we were done with the Fish, Jerome and Jia Liang went on for treasure hunt with the Fish. Poor Fish Head, it got humiliated and all.

They practically eat anything from the Fish Head including some squishy substances. Trust me, they would survive well for Fear Factor. Oh yes, Jerome was savoring his eye ball while Say Cheong and I cringed. Then, they started to give disgusting parts of the Fish Head to each another. GROSS.

Today, we went to Chinatown again to eat the Claypot Rice. Thankfully, God seems to be touched by our sincerity.

This big bowl cost $20 and 6 of us shared it including a freeloader. LOL. We had a hard time stirring it until another Auntie from the next table came over and taught us to put the chicken on another plate first before stirring. Omygee, we are just like noobs scavenging for food. So we all ate happily until the bottom part of the rice- the most unhealthy part yet delicious for some.

It literally looks like a bowl of rice with Carbon in it. Moreover, it's H-A-R-D! Sijun had a tough time scrapping this bowl of rice until some Aunties walked past and commented that we shouldn't eat until like that. Then came along the Claypot Auntie who came over and said that 'Ah Boy, don't do that! You're spoiling the Claypot!' LOL.

Yes, that is our end product. EH, it's not easy to scrap the rice until this standard okay!

The Freeloader! :P

Hahas, then we left for dessert!

YAY! Isn't it mouth-watering just to look at it? Gosh, I'm really liking the Food Expedition project. All of them don't believe that the Water Chestnut Cake is nice until they tried it. Oh well, and they wanted Guilinggao again.

And the Shop assistant argued that Guilinggao aren't literally made from Turtles. Oh well, we did research to substantiate our stand! Muahahaha. This one wasn't as good as Hougang Mall's one though. And yes, it's vegetarian.

And since I didn't have dinner, I'm hungry now! :(

After school yesterday, the few of us chiong-ed to Plaza Singapura for Megan since Jerome is a die-hard fan of hers. Well, generally it is pr
etty much porn. Just that before she reveals R-21 stuff, she turns into a gross monster and start to feed on the horny bastard. Hahas, the plot is rather spastic. Hang on, the entire show is spastic. But yea, I guess it is attractive to the guys only.

Then comes today. TODAY IS THE MOST EPIC DAY PROBABLY OF THE ENTIRE YEAR.
So it was 2pm going to 3 pm when we leave school. Jialiang, Jianyuan, Ashwin, Jerome and I were intending to head home until Jialiang and Jerome suggesting to go and have lunch. Then, our spastic Ashwin suggested going Kovan for their superb Beef Noodle. When we reach Lorong Chuan, we ran to get onto the train towards Bartley. It seemed like Mission Impossible as our adrenaline rush pushed us forward to the closing doors. Before we can catch our breath, we saw our dear Ashwin standing before the door. BUT, he's at the other side of the door. The train started moving and we laughed at the helpless sight of him waiting for the next train. ROFL.

So when we wanted to eat our Beef Noodle, Ashwin dropped his s
poon to the chilli. Jy couldn't help but to follow suit. A small amount of Jerome's rice was scattered on the table and I dropped my tray on the floor in attempt to place it on another table. ROFL, everything
happened one after another in order. EPIC FAIL 1!

Oh yes, because they were so affected by my PW topic and they dec
ided to taste how Guilinggao is like. After knowing that it cost $5 per bowl, they chickened out and realized Tau Hway was a much better choice. So off we went to the hawker centre and grabbed a bowl of Selegie Bean curd for a dollar. :P I guess they were still curious how Guillinggao taste after that. So Ashwin insisted on going to Hougang Mall for Guilinggao even though it cost $5. Jialiang
thought we were crazy and went home. 1 down, 4 to go. It's just like the survival series. That marked the official start of our Food Expedition!

Jianyuan gave up on going home since it's so far away from his house and decided to give in to us. It was the first time he didn't mind going further than Kovan from Harbourfront. HAHAS.
He didn't make the wrong move obviously. So, off we went to Hougang Mall. I met quite a few people. First, I met Lixia on the train and I asked them if I were to talk to that 'stranger', would I be in for a treat. But I guess they suspected that she was my friend so they only agre
ed to give me a dollar for doing it (which they haven't give me). So I said 'Hi!' of course. Then after that, I saw Ernest and Rong Kai as well. Hahas, Hougang Mall = Bowen Area huh?

LOL. And we're supposed to conserve these turtles who are used to make these Guilinggao. But rest assured, these Guilinggao are vegetarian. Hahas, so Ashwin's and Jerome tried Guilinggao for the very first time. Jerome had that bitter look after swallowing the first mouthful of Guilinggao without honey. LOL. So all of us shared a bowl of it which cost $7 instead.

If you realized, the destination we goes to has a trend. It's towards Punggol direction and we stop at every stop. Obviously, there isn't anything at Buangkok. So we went to Sengkang instead. Guess what we had there! YA-KUN! LOL. Each of
us ordered a toast set. By then, I was quite full already. But still, I managed to finish the set. HAHAS. I felt that I gained 2kg or more. Before we wanna go Punggol, we realized that we ran out of money for more food. We thought of asking Wei Kit to join us since he stay in the vicinity and he can provide financial assistance as well. But then we arrived to this crazy idea of catching a movie. This is it. We knew we have to catch MJ. So I persuaded my Mum for a very long time before she allow me to go. So we reached Marina Square at 6.30 for the 7pm show. Phew, we got a pretty nice seat.

Yup man. This is it! Ultimate coolness. I never would have thought I would watch 2 movies straight consecutively in 2 days. For that matter, I like it. :) Not to mention, it burnt quite a big hole of my pocket. Gee. So yup, MJ's movie was quite a blast to me. Some might beg to differ. Oh well, I'm quite a big fan of him. Although he didn't include songs like Heal the World, We Are the World, You're Not Alone in his movie. It was quite well done in general. Basically, it is like an informal shooting of the rehearsals done. At least you get to know how MJ manage his concert. Quite impressive I must say. If he didn't die yet, those performances would be LEGEN...wait for it... DARY!

When it was Billie Jean, we all went high and started singing away. Alright, I was practically singing all the way when I hear a familiar song. :) SO FUN! And I really wanna know how he dance so impressively without much effort. :S

That's pretty much about today. It's a LONG day. S-L project tomorrow. I hope it would be fun!

Promos sucks big time. I was totally raped by Math and I failed GP. Best of the both worlds isn't it? I definitely can't sustain 4H2 and if my CT were to ask me which subject to drop, judging from my results, I would have drop Math. But that's just absurd. Dang, I don't want to drop other subjects as well.

Oh well, at least I got promoted. Until Cheena and OP ends, it's torture time for me.

I wanna participate in such activities!!! :DDDD

PROMOS IS O-V-E-R!

Okay, there're 2 more wars to go before I can really celebrate. Still, I don't need to mug as hard already. Oh well, I think my agony will last till I finish getting back all my results. I don't think it would be a pleasant experience. I screwed up quite b
adly for most of my subjects. So I only hope to promote now.

On a lighter note, I've watched 2 movies in this week. 500 days of summer was really cool. It shows quite a huge contrast in the poor guy's emotions throughout the 500 days by advancing and rewinding the days. Besides, it's an unconventional show. Not really a happily ever after show. I like it. As for Pandorum, it's not really interesting. I can't really get the plot and the entire setting seems to be in the ship only. It's not really worth watching.

Oh yes, did I mention I've a new obsession? Heard of Korean girl band Girls' Generation(So Nyuh Shi Dae)?

Then please allow me to enlighten you. Firstly, I need you to really understand this and fully comprehend it. That is, THEY ARE HOT, PRETTY, CUTE AND WHATEVER CHARISMATIC ADJECTIVES THAT YOU CAN THINK OF.

Yes, that's much better. Yes yes yes, I know some of you will just
say that they're just some plastic freaks. But hey, until you have concrete evidences that say so, don't jump to conclusions!
Besides, they're so talented, who cares whether they're plastic or not.

Yup, so this is SNSD. It's my current desktop wallpaper. :)

And my favourite member is Jessica.
